Garden By Design

Our client had moved into a contemporary home where the garden didn’t reflect their lifestyle needs. With an area spanning just over 300m2 they wanted to create a flowing garden that wasn’t too formal and which incorporated both an external kitchen area and a garden room.

Having a love for outside living and entertaining it was important to select elements that were both aesthetically pleasing as well as practical. Having agreed a final design it was important to the clients that they chose a paving solution that was both contemporary and complimented the colour of the house and planting. Through their consultative approach Trovia were able to present a range of beautiful porcelain products in various formats and colours for the clients to choose from.

Ben & Steve– Garden Designers

It was very important to us to have a design that made the best of our south facing garden and complemented our contemporary house and lifestyle. Ben’s design was spot on with an outside kitchen close to house and then a garden room and additional patio area at the top of the garden to make the most of the evening sun. Selecting the paving was quite a difficult decision as the design incorporated two patios, steps and a garden path. However, Trovia were really helpful in that process selecting a number of beautiful hard wearing and low maintenance porcelain designs to select from. We were even given full size pieces to use in our garden to match against the back of the house to ensure our decision was right for us. The easy to clean properties of the porcelain are particularly good around the outside kitchen space and Trovia were also able to arrange for bullnose steps and cladded planters to be made, making the final touches to the stunning design.
